Peace Thru Music is a program of Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme. We obtain the resources necessary to provide the children in these programs with musical instruments and music education.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Scholarship funds
- Orchestras, choir and bands
- Music mentors from local colleges, high schools, and community music programs
- Network of support from professional musicians, and other caring individuals
- Development of music education materials
- After-school programs
- Tools for conflict resolution
Funding to fulfill our mission is obtained by:
- Private donations/Individual
- Foundations
- Corporate sponsorships
- Fundraisers, music events, and auctions
